Q: How Do I Get Started?
A: The first step is to register a Buzz account in order to obtain a unique Buzz number and password. You can do this by clicking on the "plans icon" on the main page to find a plan that suits your individual needs. Once you selected your plan, click on the "subscribe button" on the top right corner of the main page and follow the instructions.
Q: What VoIP Devices Do I Need?
A: Although the VoIP device that is right for you is determined by your individual needs and taste, users in general can be divided into two major groups, home users and business users. Home users are more focused on single user account products that can work on dial up Internet connections e.g. Soft Phone or Telephony Adaptor. Business users will normally focus on multi-user account products with advanced features that work on broadband Internet connections e.g. Gateway Phone or Uni-Tel VoIP Gateway.
Q: How Do I Make Calls From My VoIP Device?
A: You can make calls to other Buzz account holders and to normal telephones or mobile phones. Calls to other Buzz numbers are always free and are called by dialling the Buzz number and pressing the dial key, in most cases the "#" button on the phone. In order to make a call to a normal or mobile phone, you need to have sufficient airtime available. You dial as follows: 007 followed by the country code, followed by the area code, followed by the number, followed by the "#" key. E.g. A call to the Uni-Tel Office will be dialled as follows: 007 27 12 6440200 #

A: Call forwarding is a service that every subscriber can use for free. Calls to a Buzz number can be forwarded to any other Buzz number, normal telephone or mobile phone number, worldwide. When call forward is activated on a Buzz number, any incoming call is immediately redirected to the specified number. The redirected call is always free to the calling party. The called party only endures a minimum cost in cases where the call is forwarded to a normal or mobile phone. You can set up call forward by logging into your account and selecting the call forward function. From there you select the type of call forward you desire and enter the number.
Q: How Do I View My Account Detail?
A: You can log on to your account by entering your username (Buzz number) and password in the block marked "My Account" on the bottom left hand corner of every page on the Uni-Tel Website. You can also log on to your account by using the "preference" button on your Soft Phone.

A: Yes, you can use your current phone in conjunction with Uni-Tel products and services. You can use your current phone with your Soft Phone, by making use of the USB Adapter. You can also use your current phone with the Uni-Tel Telephone Adaptor. Your current phone can plug into the Uni-Tel VoIP Gateway and function with your current phone line.

A: Once you are a subscriber, you can call any other Buzz subscriber for free. If you have airtime loaded on your account, you can make calls to any normal or mobile phone worldwide, at a greatly reduced rate.

A: While using our agent locator in locating an agent in your country, state or city and the search results are negative; it means that there is not an agent yet. You don't have to delay until your city is listed on the agent locator, due to the flexibility of the Uni-Tel VoIP platform, you can subscribe to the agent on the system that is closest to you.
Q: What Do I Have To Pay To Divert Calls To My Mobile Phone?
A: First of all you need to have sufficient airtime available on your account. The costs to be incurred would be the same as if the call was made from your Soft Phone or VoIP device. You can also divert your calls to any other VoIP device, the Uni-Tel VoIP network or any other conventional phone worldwide.
